One of the other major events which took place in February (3rd to 5th) was the ICE Totalling Gaming Exhibition. This event took place once again at London’s ExCel Center and it gave operators a chance to showcase their latest technology. Microgaming previewed a brand new online slot machine called Bridesmaids which is scheduled to arrive in casinos in August 2015.

“Bridesmaids is a comedy classic! The storyline, characters and genuinely hilarious stand-out scenes combine to make it one of the most successful comedy films of all time,” said the Microgaming CEO, Roger Raatgever. He continued, “We’re thrilled to have signed another licensing agreement with Universal. Furthermore, the brand adds a completely new dimension to our branded game portfolio – we’re excited for its launch later in the year.” These exact words came from the official Microgaming website.

The new Bridesmaids online slot machine is otherwise known as a ‘branded’ slot and it is based on the 2011 Universal Pictures movie of the same name which starred Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Rebel Wilson and Maya Rudolph. The Bridesmaids slot machine has 5 reels and 40 winning paylines and you will hopefully be able to win some really big prizes from within the entertaining multi-level bonus round.

Also keep an eye out for two other new online slots from Microgaming called Lucky Leprechaun and Golden Princess. These new slots should both be arriving in casinos at some point in March. NetEnt will also be launching a new slot in March called Spiñata Grande. There is also a brand new slot from NetEnt called Steam Tower which is now available in casinos. This new slot can be found in a growing number of NetEnt casinos.
